In a continued effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in public transport, the Western Cape Transport and Public Works Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will visit the West Coast District to raise awareness in the Bergrivier and Matzikama municipal areas.
The purpose of the visit is to encourage travellers to follow the Covid-19 golden rules of hygiene for keeping safe and to ensure operators and public transport passengers comply with Alert Level 1 regulations.
During his visit, the Minister will join a roadblock and visit taxi ranks in Vredendal and Piketberg.
