Minister of Transport and Public Works, Robin Carlisle, will be awarding the first winner of the Safely Home Road Safety Reward campaign with their R 25 000 prize.
On the 17 December 2012, the Safely Home Road Safety Reward was launched offering a cash opportunity to all Western Cape motorists and drivers who remain fine free for this festive season.
The Western Cape focuses very intently on the safety of road passenger vehicles, as a result of which fatalities in this area have fallen considerably.
This festive season has seen 153 deaths in the Province.
