Last week, 64 people were arrested by Western Cape Provincial Traffic officers on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. During the same period, 15 pedestrians were killed in traffic crashes in our province.

Bush Radio News: Traffic Offenders List Released Today in the Western Cape / 9 October 2012
The Western Cape Department of Transport released a Name and Shame list. The list has all the names of traffic offenders that have been caught in the province. Minister Robin Carlisle says this is part of their anti-drunk driving measures for the festive season.
